Description
This course provides an understanding of the molecular basis of biological phenomena with emphasis on the fundamental processes common to all organisms: enzyme catalysis, DNA, RNA and protein synthesis, and mechanism of gene expression. Includes a description of common molecular biology techniques for gene study and manipulation. Prerequisites: BIO 220 and BCH 227; also listed as BIO 334.
