This course covers Mendelian genetics and extensions of Mendelian analysis, population and quantitative genetics, and molecular genetics: DNA structure and replication, organization of DNA in chromosomes, gene and chromosomal mutations, gene expression and its regulation, and recombinant DNA technology. Prerequisite: BIO 211.
