Astrophysics II: Galaxies

Description
This course deals with the nature and properties of galaxies and provides an introduction to cosmology. The course will cover the Milky Way, and properties of spiral, elliptical, and irregular galaxies. The course will also cover the basic elements of cosmology and the birth and evolution of the Universe as a whole. Prerequisite: AST 310.
