Description
Diffusion of persuasive political communications through standard and created media. Examination of campaign techniques (i.e. research on issues and human rights in a regional context and evaluates the history, the current situation, and the future prospects for human rights in the MENA region. It explores the structural problems and challenges that the advancement of human rights is facing and introduces successful experience and good practice that have achieved change and made a difference in their respective societies. these changes with respect to freedom of expression, access to information, and protection against undue intrusion in the private sphere. It will also highlight the impact of ICT on protection of cultural rights and innovations in the economic and social fields, including economic opportunities for marginalized groups and regions. Prerequisite: POS 602.
