Project Management

Fundamentals of Project Management, engineering organization, planning, budgeting, scheduling and cost controls, bidding process, tender documents and contracts. Examples will be given in all fields of Engineering. Prerequisite: Junior Standing. cr. Fundamentals of hydrological cycle, catchment, losses, hydrographs and hyetographs. The course includes design topics with hydrologic applications in civil engineering and selected from: flood frequency analysis, determination of design rainfall intensity and hyetographs, peak flow estimation, design hydrograph estimation, subsurface Hydrology and groundwater process, modelling, and drought risk analysis/yield hydrology; and effect of climate change on hydrology. Prerequisites: MEN 215 or MEN 320.
