Fundamentals in Nursing

Description
An introduction to the basic concepts of nursing. This course uses the nursing process as the organizing framework to examine concepts of health, nursing, client, and environment. Students are also introduced to concepts and interventions central to the nursing practice. Performance of basic client care is emphasized, along with the rationale for nursing interventions to promote and restore health.
