Health Communication

An introductory survey of health communication issues, including patient-provider communication, sociocultural diversity/context and issues in healthcare, communication within healthcare organizations, media and health, risk and crisis communication, new technologies and health communication, health communication ethics, and health communication research. Prerequisite: HEA 320.
