Food Safety and Quality Management II

Description
This course introduces students to the importance of moving towards quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and total quality management (TQM) thinking in food establishments. It highlights the current challenges in food safety management systems and the importance of establishing a strong food safety culture, leadership, and behavior-based food safety management. In addition, this course provides students with tools on how to conduct different types of audit in the food industry. Prerequisite: FQM 322.
