Advanced Organic Chemistry

The course focuses on the study of thermodynamics, kinetics, and stereochemistry of reaction mechanisms. Topics include nucleophilic substitution, elimination, radical reactions, aromaticity and electrophilic substitution in aromatic rings. In addition, a comprehensive study on non-classical carbocations, carbanions, carbenes, and carbanoids is considered. through which he learns the basics, techniques, and methods of research. The course includes strategies to access and use print and electronic resources, literature evaluation, proposal writing, experimental design, data analysis, handling comments and recommendations, and scientific writing.
