Industrial Chemistry II: Chemical Processes

This course provides a broad overview of technologies and processes involved in chemical industry. Topics covered: industrial production of organic and inorganic chemicals, fermentation processes, Petroleum refining, Polymer processing, industrial catalysis, product development from bench to pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing, process economics and environmental considerations. Prerequisites: CHM 222, CHM 323.
