Organic Chemistry Laboratory I

This course is designed for nutrition students and introduces the methods of separation and purification including extraction, recrystallization, simple and fractional distillation and thin layer chromatography. Identification of functional groups and chemical reactions will be also included. Prerequisite: CHM 270.Corequisite: CHM 213.
