Applied Techniques in Molecular Biology

The course trains students in the basic principles and techniques of molecular biology. Major techniques include cloning, DNA purification, bacterial transformation, electroporation of mammalian cells, restriction analysis, nucleic acid hybridization, southern blotting, and RT-PCR.
