Developmental Neurobiology

The course provides comprehensive knowledge about development of the vertebrate nervous system, both central and peripheral. It discusses the factors affecting neuroblast migration, differentiation, identification of target tissues and establishment and maintenance of synapses. Neurogenesis of selected brain regions is also considered.
