Biological Clocks

The course provides basic knowledge about biological rhythms and their survival value in various organisms, with special focus on mammals. It provides insight into the mechanisms underlying entrainment to environmental stimuli. Functional significance of the circadian pacemaker in relation to some diseases is also considered.
