Plant Propagation

This course covers the principles, practices and techniques in sexual and asexual propagation of horticultural plants, in which seed technology, and seed propagation, rooting and propagation by cutting, grafting and budding systems, layering and propagation by specialized plant structures, biotechnology and tissue culture systems for micropropagation are discussed. Prerequisite: BIO 212.
