This course offers the Physics undergraduate students the opportunity of an early exposure to the professional market that will allow them to gain some early insight into professional practice in Physics education, or some knowledge about realworld Physics topics explored in research or industry. Prerequisite: Senior Standing. PHS 497 Senior Project; 3 cr. This course is based on a project chosen by the student in consultation with the instructor. The project could be in one of the different fields of physics (research-based), in physics education, or industry-related. The course grade will be on a written thesis and a presentation. Prerequisite: Senior Standing and consent of the instructor.
