Elements of Probability

Description
The course introduces the basics of probability of events, axioms of probability, conditioning and independence, random variables and expectations, moment generating functions, discrete/continuous univariate and multivariate random variables, the distribution of order statistics, linear combination of independent random variables and the Central Limit Theorem, along with associated applications. Corequisite: MAT 224.
