Cadastral and Field Surveying

Description
This course covers multiple branches of surveying, earth surface determinations, cadastral delimitation, Ellipsoid, and Geoids. Topics include: mapping of the earth’s surface. Properties of plane representation, mapping procedures used in topography. Surveying instruments. Determination of surveying points network (azimuth, surveying intersection, three points’ problem, and traverse). Leveling instruments. Surveying of details (side shotsabscissa and ordinates, lateral oblique). Representation of relief (Methods used, construction of contour lines). Longitudinal profile- cross sections. Prerequisites: MAT 225 and CSC 270.
