This course introduces fundamental concepts in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), including user interface (UI) design, prototyping, implementation, and evaluation. It emphasizes the importance of user experience and covers essential concepts for designing and implementing usable UIs using a presentation technology and programming language. Prerequisites: CSC 213, CSC 215 or CSC 217. CSC 456 Data Mining (3.0); 3 cr. This course addresses Data Warehousing and provides the students with a strong understanding of the fundamental Data Mining methodologies. The course covers topics such as data types and data preprocessing, Data Warehousing and OLAP, classification techniques, association analysis and clustering analysis. Prerequisites: CSC 226 or CSC 426.
