This course will emphasize the significance of Mission The BA in Public Administration aims to teach students the discipline of public administration. The program is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of the public sector, its organization, operations, structures, and processes of government. Students are given high-quality training in order to become more effective participants in a democratic society as managers, policy analysts, public policy makers, and responsible citizens. Students receive instruction in such subjects as public management, budget preparation, techniques, public policy, ethics, and sustainable development. Graduates in Public Administration are prepared for careers in government at the national and international levels, as well as employment in nonprofit organizations. Program Educational Objectives PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION This program is designed to equip students with comprehensive awareness of the discipline of Public Administration. The major courses will provide students with indepth knowledge of the field, and will afford them a smooth and solid transition into the graduate studies as well as professional training in the following areas: the public sector in various ministries of government, budgeting and the budget process, foreign service, international and regional organizations, multi-national corporations, banking institutions, and other enterprises.
