International Treaty Systems of Human Rights

The course explores the development of the international treaties covering different aspects of human rights through the United Nations, the European Union, and other regional organizations. It introduces the students to the bodies related to these treaties, their importance, functioning, and relevant mechanisms, giving students basic knowledge on how to make use of these bodies to help protect, promote, and implement basic human rights values.
