Commercial Law IV: Bankruptcy

Description
This course endeavors to provide students with an understanding of the bankruptcy laws, including the Law of Corporate Reorganization. Topics include: •T he procedure and the judgment of bankruptcy; • The appointment of the liquidator; • The period of suspicion; •T he concordat and preventive, rights of creditors in bankruptcy; • The individual’s right to discharge; •T he treatment of executory contracts and bankruptcy planning; and •T he procedure of “to be put into receivership.” Language of Instruction: Arabic (legal terms, however, are also given in English and French).
