Description
This course focuses on the study of how culture, identity, values, and beliefs shape the creation and perception of communication messages at the local, national, and international level. Topics include identity, perceptions of masculinity and femininity, ethnocentrism and the Other, colonialism and cross-cultural encounters, language, power, and globalization.
