Program Educational Objectives Liberal Arts Curriculum 30 cr. Core Requirements 54 cr. The program will prepare students to: • Lead a productive career in their chosen concentration area; • Apply their learned skills to analyze current issues in education and propose means of addressing them; • Contribute to the improvement of education practices and methodologies; and • Work with educational professionals in organizations and government offices that deal with various educational issues. The BA in Education - Basic Education focuses on preparing schoolteachers for Grade 1 to 9 to confront the issues of basic education.
