Advanced Translation of Literature Arabic-English

Description
This students with the problems of linguistic specificity and translation. The nature and structure of language, its role in society, the theory and methods of linguistics, phonology, syntax, semantics and lexicon as applied in translation are emphasized. course is based on the study and analysis of translated works and the translation of a previously untranslated work into Arabic. We focus on how we read and understand literature, how reading and writing literature influence identity, meaning and value, and how to develop strategies for reading, discussing, and writing about literary works in order to translate literary work properly.
