Literature · Faculty of Humanities · 3 credits
Literature as marketed through various institutions such as book prizes, media advertising, reviews, and the role of critical assessment in the formation of canons and counter-canons are explored in connection with the phenomenon of the best-seller. Questions such as how and why best-sellers are produced, and how they influence and shape the existing narrative discourse are raised.
