Modern and Contemporary Critical Theory

This course presents the major developments of modern and contemporary critical theory from its beginnings with Formalism, passing by New Criticism and Structuralism, to the latest developments in Post-Structuralist theory. Latest trends are stressed. Prerequisites: LIR 214 and LIR 215.
