This course covers works written in the This course is a continuation of Chinese 201. Emphasis is on improving conversational Chinese in addition to reading and writing. an introduction to French literature of the modern period through the study of texts representative of key movements from the end of the 18th century to the present. French language by writers outside France, from such diverse settings as Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, East Asia, and Lebanon. Special consideration will be given to Francophone writers from Lebanon. RC SPA
