Fine and Specialty Chemicals Processing

This course covers processes used in the production of fine and specialty chemicals as well as pharmaceuticals. The focus will be on separation processes, batch and agitated tank operations, process control, detailed description of purification methods including chromatography and quality control. Prerequisite: CHE 430.
