Description
This course covers the industrial production of ceramics, glass and cement. Description includes: history and main technics of production of ceramics glass and cement, processing of powders, furnace technology, refractories ceramics, physico-chemical features of materials, high-temperature behavior, energy management and environmental impact, quality control, composites with a glass or ceramic matrix. Prerequisites: CHE 350, CHE 430.
