Microprocessor System Design

Description
Microprocessor internal architecture. RISC/CISC Processors, Registers, Memory organization. Instructions, execution and timing. Interfacing with peripherals. Static and Dynamic Interrupts. Designing and Interfacing with state-of-the-art microprocessors. Assembly language programming. Hardware Description Language (HDL) will be used for homework assignments and projects. Prerequisites: EEN 310, EEN 323/CSC 312. Corequisite: EEN 425.
