Description
Analysis of uncertainty in engineering projects and processes including planning, design and construction. Review and application of probabilities, statistics, and decision analysis applications. Variability of loads, environmental concerns; materials properties; prediction and system reliability analysis. Risk analysis and the decision process. CEN Advanced Project Management (3.0); 3 cr. Presentation of concepts and important issues in managing projects effectively. It includes project selection, planning, negotiation, budgeting, cost estimation, scheduling, resource allocation, control, auditing, and termination.
