Description
This course introduces the basics of industrial and mobile robots. It covers the interaction of robotics with the multiple facets of society (ethics, politics, law, etc.). While robots are doing their tasks with more intelligence, they also raise issues of data protection, privacy and ethics. It also covers basic knowledge of electronics, sensors, actuators, motion couplings, Internet of Things (IoT), etc.
