Examination of persuasive techniques used in promotional presentations conducted on a person-to-person basis. Emphasis on effective selling techniques, understanding the company and its products, understanding the customer and the selling environment, recognizing selling opportunities, and planning, implementing, and control of the personal selling programs. Prerequisite: MRK 201.
