Fundamentals of Investments

Description
The course aims to introduce a set of basic principles of the investment environment and process in the field of investment. Topics covered include the different asset classes in the financial markets, sources, determination of holding periods, determination of security prices, capital asset pricing models, portfolio selection problems, and investment companies. For Financial Engineering students, the passing grade is “C”. Prerequisite: BAF 311.
