Fashion Illustration I

Description
Students will learn to develop and illustrate fashion figures and garment details through analysis of the fashion canon, the figure research, and the study of lines and proportions resulting in fashion design sketches and illustrations. The course emphasizes visual expression and introduces the fundamentals of light and shadow, all illustrated by hand. Corequisite: FAP 211. Students will study the use of patterns for various sectors while developing basic concepts as well as original designs according to professional standards through hands-on practice. Corequisite: FAP 211.
