Description
Design of steel beam girders, tension member columns, bolted, riveted, and welded connections. Prerequisite: CEN 210. project and design evaluation, decision making including replacement and retention, budget limitation, breakeven and sensitivity analysis. Case studies in the design/system analysis process, time value of money and economic evaluation of alternatives, risk analysis, and the effects of depreciation and taxes. Prerequisites: ENG 200, Junior Standing.
