Fragments of Repair: Reimagining Damaged Urban Fabrics is a 10-day design workshop that investigates how architecture can operate as a tool of urban repair in contexts marked by damage, rupture, and fragmentation. Working on a Lebanese site, students will analyze broken spatial relationships across urban, block, and architectural scales, and develop targeted interventions that restore continuity, activate public life, and support resilience. The workshop moves from mapping and diagnosis to conceptual strategy and architectural proposal, encouraging students to rethink reconstruction beyond replication. Through drawings, models, and diagrams, participants will explore how design can engage memory, repair, and future urban possibilities. Passing grade: D Pre-requisite: ARCH 432 Design Studio VI
