Venture Capital Management

This course provides students with an understanding of the approaches and techniques used by venture capitalists to: assess the prospects of success of a venture; develop and negotiate investment terms including valuation; monitor the investee and understand exit routes such as trade sale and IPO. It also provides the student with conceptual and practical knowledge about key operating and strategic aspects of an entrepreneurial business, from the pre-commercial stage to IPO.
