The exams are based on what he discusses in class, usually compare and contrast between the selections of the books read in class , and he’s a very fair grader! It’s moderate workload if you decide not to read the books and depend on summaries online but if you want to get the participation percentage (10%) you should read the books because he knows if you did or didn’t.
With Sirine the workload is heavier than what it normally is with Waterman, you’ll have to do exams, papers ( I think ) and a presentation. Grades given in this course usually aren’t that high (mid eighties)
grading is amazing. Workload is fine; u get questions u have to answer weekly concerning ur reading and there's one presentation on a topic u choose from a list she proposes. The professor is very nice.
In engl 209 you have to read around 5 books for the semester. The first exam is about the first two books, second exam second two books, and the last is on the last book. The exams are easy, just like what you discussed in class. However, he doesn't give higher than 86, unless you write something SUPERB!
