2- Farouk’s an experience. You grow immeasurably in his lectures. He’s so well- informed and brings math to life in an almost magical way. His lectures are the most enjoyable ones I’ve attended in university. That being said, he likes to challenge his students, so if exams aren’t common, Farouk’s will be difficult. However, if exams are common, don’t miss out on the Farouk experience

Shaya is really good and super friendly, he explains well but you need to keep attending his classes to get a good grade. He gives important examples during the lectures that you may see on your exam paper. If you take it with Shaya, you will have to go to recitations that are given usually by Prof.Yamani to get a good grade. Recitations are super important with shaya

For non-premed chemistry students, it's recommended to take MATH 201 in the first semester rather than as an elective, since it is a prerequisite for other chemistry courses.

Taking MATH 201, CMPS 211, and CMPS 202 together is considered doable, especially with tutoring (e.g., with Yaghi) for MATH 201.

For MATH 201, the recitation instructor doesn't matter much since they only cover examples and questions — what matters most is who teaches the lecture.

For MATH 201 at AUB, make sure to register for both the lecture and the recitation, since recitation instructors only run problem-solving sessions, not the lecture.

Taking MATH 201 together with ECON 212 during the summer session can be a bit tough.

MATH 201 does not feel like a big workload if you study on a daily basis, and on that basis it is manageable alongside ECON 212 in summer.

Abi Khuzam without a doubt. The way he explains is detailed and straightforward. He offers a decent amount of examples in class and offers some mathematical intuition, which makes you fully understand the lesson without the need for proofs (although some r given sometimes).

Tlas for the ''raise'' ...he basically gives some hard exams but at the end of the course u get a good raise. The last question in every quiz is super hard and he puts it to make sure no student gets above 90 ....That's what my friends used to say.
