One student took CHEM 200 with Dr. Faraj and found it easy, though unsure if he still teaches it.
Chem 200 is an extremely easy course. UNLESS you are taking it with Samar. You will realize before your first exam (when it's too late) that you are taking 201 material, the exercises she gave us had no solutions for us to correct our mistakes and we just had to deal with it. You could get an A, however, know that with Samar you'll have to study for this course as if you are a Chem major.
Best teacher ever. You will love him and definitely you'll love his lectures. If you stick to what he says in class regarding homework, notes etc.. you will ace it.
Very low workload, Instructor is too nice and his exams are very easy, same as the exercises that are given in the recitation
His tests are very easy and straightforward he simply relies on the powerpoints lectures.
He posts a study guide on moodle and tells you what exactly comes in the test. he is also very clear in his instructions.
Faraj ... his exams are identical to his previouses. I honestly never attended a single lecture and ended up with an 85 i think.
Veryy very easy course. But he prefers students who attend lectures and he gets to knw them. Because sometimes he adds material in the exam that are not in the recitations
Pierre, unless u like to get an exam that is 100% all subjective and full of drawing chemistry molecules the go for fara
