Description
Metric spaces, normed vector spaces, the derivative as a linear transformation, chain rule, vector versions of mean-value theorem, Taylor’s formula, inverse and implicit function theorems, Riemann integration in Rn, differential forms, the general Stokes’s theorem, and notions of differential geometry. Prerequisites: MATH 210, and MATH 218 or MATH 219. Annually.
