Successful companies like Apple, Starbucks, Netflix etc. strive to create holistic experiences for customers that include emotive, sensory, identity value to create strong and enduring customer-brand bonds, which are difficult for competitors to copy or break. Customer experience is an all-encompassing term that goes beyond traditional definitions of marketing, customer service, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. This course builds on and extends traditional marketing principles to enable students to develop compelling customer and brand experiences. Business majors only. Prerequisites: MKTG 210 and ENGL 204 or ENGL 206.
