The application of biological principles to issues in the conservation biology will be examined within a context that integrates social, and economic principles applied in the management of forest and wildland resources, forests, range, water, fish and game. Evaluation of alternate management plans and the introduction to integrative planning will also be discussed such as the, interactions of water, wood, wildlife, range fisheries, and recreation resources. Prerequisite: BIO 212. management and disposal, and treatment processes such as recycling, composting, landfilling as well as the introduction to hazardous/toxic waste. waste such as: sources, types, quality, quantity and impact assessment. Treatment processes and detoxification and disposal will also be discussed.
