THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PHYSICS Physics is the discovery of the inner workings of the natural world, from the whole universe to the smallest particles. It studies the fundamental laws of nature that govern the phenomena observed in everyday life. Major Requirements 33 cr. Students holding a BS in Physics can pursue a career in teaching or follow graduate studies. Other options include working in hospitals as medical physicists, or in the quality control industry for running labs or devising numerical simulations.
