Character Animation

Computer Science · Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences · 3 credits
concentrates on the motion of animated objects. It covers the creation of mathematical models that represent an object’s motion, and their application for simulating movement by using computing programming. The students learn essential techniques for producing 3D models, and using them in simulation tools. Prerequisites: CSC 213 and CSC 231. The main purpose of Character Animation is to acquaint students with basic modeling and Animation of a 3d Character. The course will cover modeling, Texturing, Rigging and Animation of a 3d Character. Prerequisites: CSC 277 or CSC 278.
