Introduction to the Education of Students with Learning Disabilities

This course introduces the student to the indicators of learning disabilities and the means of diagnosing children with learning disabilities. Methods of teaching students with learning disabilities will be practiced. Strategies to include students with disabilities in mainstream elementary classrooms will also be examined. Observation of inclusive classrooms will be required. Corequisite: EDU 201.
