Instrumentation is a high workload course u will have lectures that discuss general information (mainly sensors and error analysis ). You will have a few assignments on these topics along with a midterm ( usually easy) and a final ( usually very hard). You will also have lecture quizzes every now and then, but they are easy, designed to raise your grades. As for the lab part, you will be learning labview and applying what u learned on different sensors. The lab usually includes weekly assignments, a labview final exam, and a project about sensors (includes lecture and lab topics). The project is considered to be hard. The labview assignments are not very hard, yet it is important to solve them on your own as a practice for the labview final exam since the exam is usually hard. I took it with Daniel Asmar and he was great, he is ready to answer all your questions and he explains really well. You will suffer from the high workload of the course, yet it is really very beneficial.

It is a very loaded course; it can be considered as 2 courses one theoretical and one experimental (lab). You will have a weekly lab assignment, an assignment and a drop quiz (for each chapter), a midterm, a final exam for the course, a final exam for the lab and a big project. It is not easy yet not very hard if you study it carefully. Take it with Daniel Asmar; he explains very well and he's a super friendly person. My lab instructor was Lina Kassis she's also very good.
