Translation

This course is the best elective for getting a decent grade with a moderate (maybe less) workload. The material is diverse and interesting, after you finish, you would say that you learned something new. Sandra is a good professor as well, she is lenient and honest. Although you might not understamd her criteria for correcting and she can be contradictive at times, but overall she was a good one.

It is very interesting but do not take it unless you believe you are good enough in both Arabic and English. Dr. Agha, is strict but he is very good though that you can learn a lot of him! You have to translate a paragraph weekly, sometimes poems. And you can get 100 if apply his instructions.

Sandra is amazing. She’s very helpful and passionate towards her work. She’s very open to new ideas and tends to teach you many skills. You can get a 90 if you work hard enough and do what she wants you to do.

It's a nice course overall. Doesn't feel like a stereotypical Arabic course that focuses on obsolete aspects; it's much more practical and interactive. Sandra is also a great instructor. I think it's a great choice for an Arabic elective. Workload isn't light but is manageable. In case you care about grades, I think the highest class course grades were around the 85 mark, maybe a bit higher.
